Zerohash Targets Mass Adoption With New Frictionless Asset Bridge

Moving digital assets has long been a tedious process defined by the anxiety of copying lengthy alphanumeric strings and selecting the correct blockchain networks. To solve this, crypto infrastructure provider Zerohash has unveiled AUTH, a new service designed to strip away these technical hurdles. Introduced during the Money20/20 conference in Las Vegas, the tool allows users to link their various exchange accounts and self-custody wallets into a single interface, enabling them to move funds via simple approval rather than manual data entry.

According to Ryan Beaudry, the general manager of AUTH and a former Mastercard executive, the ultimate goal is for users to stop worrying about the underlying technology entirely. By handling the complex routing and settlement behind the scenes, AUTH transforms what used to be a high-friction experience into something resembling a standard banking transfer. Industry insiders note that removing the need for repetitive address checks and cautious test payments could represent a major turning point for how everyday people interact with onchain assets.

The scope of the platform is ambitious, supporting over 600 different connections including heavyweights like Coinbase, Robinhood, Gemini, MetaMask, and Phantom. Beyond traditional cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, AUTH also accommodates blockchain-based securities such as tokenized stocks. While companies integrate the service through APIs and set their own parameters for allowed assets, Zerohash manages the critical backend work involving custody, compliance, and liquidity.

This strategic push toward usability arrives at a complicated moment for Zerohash regarding its regulatory ambitions in the United States. After having an initial application for a national trust bank charter returned by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in July, the Chicago-based firm refiled a more focused application in August. Despite these administrative hurdles and previous failed acquisition talks with Mastercard, Zerohash continues to solidify its position as a primary engine for institutional crypto access, already providing essential infrastructure for platforms like Morgan Stanley’s E*Trade.
